Clean water is rarely noticed until it’s gone.
This Ramadan, as we reflect on compassion and our responsibility to care for those in need, we’re reminded that water, so often taken for granted, is a lifeline for millions. Over 2 billion people worldwide still lack access to safely managed drinking water. Without it, children fall sick, learning is disrupted as schools struggle to operate, and families face daily challenges just to survive.
Clean water is a basic need for every person, and its importance becomes even more pronounced during Ramadan. For those who are fasting, unsafe water can cause serious health problems, making daily worship and well-being much more difficult.
